Thoughts
Just wow, okay so this movie looks absolutely bloody incredible - it looks unreal. It is difficult to fully capture how good it looks, the best way I know how is whenever I generate something with midjourney I'm in constant awe of how good it looks this is like that but more.
I think it has a good emotional throughline and a good film but these kinda first part only films always have this problem of not having a resolution so it definitely isn't stronger than the first film in that sense.
I'm happy this movie focused on Gwen as much as it did
This movie can also be incredibly funny - I loved Indian spiderman for the most part, a lot of comedic bits really landed and I think a lot of the cameos and shit landed too
The hard part for me to swallow was/is miles’s side like I believe his dad has to die and the movie didn't fully make a great case against that imo
